SNOW!

We've had a decent amount of snow around here lately, for Alabama at least. The first snow came as a complete surprise and caused a lot of trouble in the Birmingham area. The second snow however was a lot more fun. Everyone knew it was coming and stayed home. Here are a few pictures from this week's snow.  As much fun as we had, we are ready for Spring and the beach!! It's time for the cold weather to go.

 Snow!
Kathryn took this picture!  Owen was enjoying a tasty snow ball. Since we
have a dog I made sure to tell the kids to avoid yellow snow. ;)
Owen took this picture! I thought the kids did a great job
with the camera that morning!
Our snow family. If you look at the bottom of the big snow man, you'll see
a tiny snow man.  That's Charlie. The kiddos did not want to leave him out.
We had the best time playing in the snow.  We got out
there early and I'm glad we did.  By 3:00 the snow was almost completely gone.
It's the first time I can ever remember taking a snow ball and being able to
roll it in the snow to turn it into a huge snow ball.

Guess that's all for now.  In nine days Bruce will be home!! We can't wait!! In some ways, it's hard to believe that five months has gone by already.  But generally speaking, it's been a long five months. We have missed him so much and can't wait until he's home again with us.

Happy 4th Birthday Sullivan!

Our sweet Sullivan is four! I can't believe it! She really wanted a Sweet Frog birthday party this year, so last Sunday we headed to Sweet Frog in Huntsville to celebrate with the fam. We had frog cupcakes and balloons and most importantly, a lot of fun! On the 10th (her actual birthday), she got a big girl Dora bicycle and has had a lot of fun riding with her big brother and sister this week.  A week later she can still ride it so I guess I did an okay job putting it together. ;)  We LOVE you so much Sullivan...Mommy and Daddy hope you had a great birthday! Here are a few pictures from her party.  I'll post more later, my Mom took pictures that day with her camera too.
