Nursing School Update

I found out Friday evening that I was accepted into nursing school! I'll start the program this summer and if all goes as planned, graduate in December of 2014. I knew the emails would be going out soon, but I really wasn't expecting it for another week or so. Owen and I were sitting at the table when I opened my email and I told him "Mommy got into nursing school!" Owen said "Woo-hoo! Let's have a party!" He walked over to the fridge and started pulling out all of the fruit. My little man wanted to celebrate with fruit salad. Sweet, sweet boy.

As excited as I am, I'm also very nervous. I think I'll feel better once I know what my schedule looks like. It's going to be a very busy summer (it's 14 or 15 weeks of school crammed into nine or 10) and I will have a lot of juggling to do. I will also miss being at home with my sweet babies during the day, but my first semester should only be three days of class/clinicals each week. Not too bad. Now that I have an answer I can relax a little, focus on this finishing this semester strong, and enjoy this slow period (not that it's actually ever slow around here) with Bruce and the kiddos.
